This beginner-friendly tabla course is designed to introduce students to the essential elements of tabla playing in a structured, hands-on way. Whether you're completely new to percussion or exploring Indian classical music for the first time, this course lays the groundwork for a strong rhythmic foundation.

Students will first understand the parts of the tabla (Dayan and Bayan), learn proper posture and hand placement, and begin practicing fundamental tabla syllables (bols) like Na, TiTa, Ge, and Ke. Emphasis will be placed on clarity, sound production, and building strength and precision through daily practice.

As the course progresses, students will be introduced to a basic kayda from the Delhi Gharana, learning how to play and vary the composition with focus on timing and discipline. By the end of the course, learners will have a solid understanding of tabla basics and be ready to explore more advanced techniques in future learning.
